Saint Michael's College is a selective, Catholic college located near Burlington, Vermont. Founded in the great Catholic tradition and on principles of social justice and compassion, Saint Michael's delivers a world-class liberal arts education in a residential setting where students are supported by faculty, staff and their peers as they prepare for meaningful lives and fulfilling careers.

Academics

St. Mike's offers 30+ majors that cover a broad spectrum of popular subjects. Courses are taught by professors who are highly-regarded experts in their field of study, and small class sizes create a learning environment where everyone knows each other by name.

Saint Michael's also offers a robust Honors Program, faculty-mentored research opportunities, internships, and over 100 study abroad programs, all of which provide unique opportunities and challenges to students throughout their college career. 

Life on Campus

The St. Mike's community is made up of students, faculty and staff from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and religions that find a common home on campus. Students are encouraged to take part in lectures, events and activities that help foster a deep understanding and appreciation of difference, thereby becoming better prepared to participate in an increasingly diverse and rich world.

Saint Michael's College offers 21 varsity athletic teams and a number of club sports. Our unique location also provides plenty of opportunities to enjoy outdoor experiences on Lake Champlain or in the Green Mountains. A thriving nightlife and vibrant cultural hub exists within minutes of campus, and students can take a free shuttle into nearby Burlington where there is often music, food, or art festivals drawing people in from around the region. 

Life After College

Saint Michael's alumni are thriving. According to a Gallup study, 82% of our graduates receiving degrees between 2000 and 2015 are employed full time, which is higher than the national average for baccalaureate colleges - and their careers are rewarding. Recent graduates of Saint Michael's have moved on to work at organizations like the Peace Corps and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, companies like Calvin Klein and National Life Group, and attend graduate school at prestigious institutions like Harvard University and Johns Hopkins University.

Candidates for Early Action 1 will be notified of admission decisions in mid-December. Candidates for Early Action 2 will be notified of admission decisions in late January. Candidates for Regular Action will be notified of admission decisions in mid-March.  

Financial Aid

At Saint Michael's College, 90% of our students receive financial aid and all admitted students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships.
