First Year Applicants:

  • Early Decision (binding): Nov. 1
  • Early Decision II (binding): Jan. 15
  • Early Action (non-binding): Nov. 1
  • Regular Decision: Jan. 15

 Transfer Application Deadlines:

  • Regular Decision (Spring): October 1
  • Regular Decision (Fall): February 1

 Required First Year Application Materials:

  • Coalition Application
  • $60 application fee or fee waiver
  • A Letter of recommendation from last school attended
  • Official high school transcript
  • Standardized test results, including either the SAT or the ACT w/ writing are optional
  • Applicants to Animation, Dance, Film Production, Music and Theatre Arts require a portfolio or audition
  • Studio Arts portfolios are optional

 Required Transfer Application Materials:

  • Cumulative grade point average (at least a 3.00)
  • At least 30 semester hours of transferable college work
  • Coalition Application
  • Official transcripts from All colleges attended
  • Official high school transcript if college credit earned is less than 30 units
  • $60 application fee or fee waiver
  • Applicants to Animation, Dance, Film Production, Music and Theatre Arts require a portfolio or audition
  • Letter of recommendation (optional)
  • Counselor’s report (optional)
  • Mid-term report (optional)
  • Studio Arts portfolios (optional)

 Scholarship and Financial Aid:

In the 2018-19 school year 84 percent of enrolling first-year students receive an institutional grant or scholarship and over $75 million in grants and scholarships were provided to undergraduate students. For merit-based scholarship consideration, no additional application is required. All admitted students are automatically considered for merit scholarships based on the information provided in the admission application.
